Postgraduate TESL Diploma

Overview: The Advance TESOL Diploma was designed as a 4–6 month academic and practicum-based program that prepares educators to teach English with advanced methodologies, digital integration, and inclusive practices. It includes interactive learning, practicum experience, and up-to-date TESOL strategies.

Delivery Method: Offered in hybrid, online, and in-person formats with both synchronous and asynchronous components.

TESOL 120 Program

Overview: Our project included designing the TESOL 120 Program, aimed at preparing individuals for ESL teaching careers. This comprehensive certification course integrates theoretical concepts with practical skills in language teaching, classroom management, and lesson planning, aligning with the needs of educators in the field.

Program Structure:

Module 1:

  • Chapter One: An introduction on TESOL
  • Chapter Two: Language learners
  • Chapter Three: Language Teachers
  • Chapter Four: Classroom Management
  • Chapter Five: ELT Schools and Methodology

Module 2:

  • Chapter Six: Lesson Planning
  • Chapter Seven: Vocabulary, Grammar, Pronunciation

Module 3:

  • Chapter Eight: Receptive Skills (Teaching Listening)
  • Chapter Nine: Receptive Skills (Teaching Reading)
  • Chapter Ten: Productive Skills (Teaching Speaking)
  • Chapter Eleven: Productive Skills (Teaching Writing)

Module 4:

  • Chapter Twelve: Assessment and Testing
  • Chapter Thirteen: Materials and Resources

Delivery Method: The program is delivered in an in-person format, utilizing digital and printed materials.

Duration and Completion: Two designers on our team developed the program over three months, finishing it in March 2019.

Learning Management System (LMS): The program initially began on Schoology before transitioning to Google Classroom.

Accreditations and Approvals: The program holds accreditation from TESOL Canada and is approved by PTIB.

TESOL 300 Program

Overview: The TESOL 300 Diploma Program at D&H College is a comprehensive online course that empowers ESL educators with advanced teaching techniques and innovative strategies. With ten intensive courses, graduates are equipped for diverse opportunities in ESL education globally and in Canada.

Program Structure:

  1. TESOL 201: TESOL Fundamentals
  1. TESOL 202: Lesson Planning
  2. TESOL 203: Teaching Language Components
  3. TESOL 204: Teaching Receptive Skills
  4. TESOL 205: Teaching Productive Skills
  5. TESOL 206: Assessment and Testing
  6. TESOL 207: Materials and Resources
  7. TESOL 208: Technology and ESL Teaching
  8. TESOL 209: Special Classes
  9. TESOL 210: Teaching International Exams (IELTS, CAEL, TOEFL)

Delivery Method: The program is being delivered in a hybrid format, utilizing digital and printed materials along with multimedia elements such as recorded video lessons.

Duration and Completion: Our team of three designers crafted the program in three months, completing it in November 2018, with updates in 2021 and 2023.

Learning Management System (LMS): The program started on Schoology from 2018 to 2022 and then transitioned to Moodle in 2023 for an improved learning environment.

Additional Services: Our company helped D&H College with program design, instructor hiring, and marketing materials.

Accreditations and Approvals: The program holds accreditation from TESL Canada Standard 2 and is approved by PTIB.

TESOL 150 Program

Overview: Our project involved creating the TESOL 150 Certificate program at D&H College, focusing on preparing educators for successful careers as ESL teachers. The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, covering essential areas such as language teaching, classroom management, and lesson planning.

Program Structure:

  1. TESOL 101: TESOL Fundamentals
  2. TESOL 102: Lesson Planning
  3. TESOL 103: Teaching Language Components
  4. TESOL 104: Teaching Receptive Skills
  5. TESOL 105: Teaching Productive Skills
  6. TESOL 106: Assessment and Testing
  7. TESOL 107: Materials and Resources

Delivery Method: The program is being delivered in a hybrid format, utilizing digital and printed materials along with multimedia elements such as recorded video lessons.

Duration and Completion: Our team of three curriculum designers spent four months designing the program, with completion in August 2018. Updates were subsequently made in 2021 and 2023.

Learning Management System (LMS): The program initially used Schoology (2018-2022) and later shifted to Moodle for an enhanced learning experience starting in 2023.

Additional Services: In addition to designing the program, our company assisted D&H College in hiring instructors and preparing marketing materials such as brochures and social media posts.

Accreditations and Approvals: The program holds accreditation from TESL Canada Standard 1 and is approved by PTIB.

Our team embarked on a transformative journey, crafting the prestigious TESOL 300 program—a testament to our commitment to excellence and innovation in education. Through aligning with top standards, outlining clear learning goals, and crafting detailed curriculum and handbooks, we created 45 essential documents tailored to enhance the educational experience and empower educators for future challenges. This effort reflects our dedication to excellence and shaping a brighter future in education.

1. Compliance Alignment
Aligned guidelines from regulatory bodies (TESL Canada, PTIB, college policies) to ensure industry standards compliance.
2. Program Outlining
Developed a detailed program outline for TESOL 300 with clear learning objectives and alignment with educational standards.
3. Textbook Analysis & Integration
Analyzed TESOL textbooks, integrated key information to enhance program's educational value.
4. Curriculum Development & Handbook Creation
Created a comprehensive curriculum and handbooks covering theory, observation, and practical application.
5. Administrative Management & Promotion
Established program management procedures and created promotional materials to attract participants and showcase educational benefits.
6. LMS Implementation & Training
Implemented program on Moodle LMS, provided staff training, and developed student navigation tools.
7. Feedback Utilization & Continuous Improvement
