TESOL Certificate Program Overview
This online, self-paced TESOL program consists of three key components: theory, observation, and practicum. It includes four live sessions with TESL Canada accredited professors. There are SIX micro-courses in this program.
•TESOL 100: TESOL Basics - Core concepts, terminology, and classroom management.
•TESOL 110: Lesson Planning - Creating engaging lesson plans with technology and authentic materials.
•TESOL 120: Teaching Language Sub-Skills - Vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation instruction.
•TESOL 130: Teaching Listening & Reading Skills - Strategies for enhancing listening and reading comprehension.
•TESOL 140: Teaching Speaking & Writing Skills - Techniques for improving speaking and writing proficiency.
•TESOL 150: Assessment and Testing - ESL assessment methods and the role of technology in testing.

Admission Requirements
Education:
• High school graduation in Canada with a grade of 70% in English 12
• An undergraduate degree from an English-speaking university
English Proficiency (One of the following):
• TOEFL iBT: 80 overall with a minimum of 20 in each area
• IELTS: 6.5 overall with a minimum score of 6.0 in each skill area
• Duolingo: 115
